Der bzw. die Bremssättel (den ...318 habe ich auch erstanden) kamen zwar einen Tag zu spät, das ist aber natürlich keine Mangel an der Ware 🙂 BTW: Die Bremssättel sind bereits mit Bremsflüssigkeit gefüllt, daher sollte man die Verschlußschraube für den Hydraulikanschluß erst ganz zum Schluß entfernen. Beim Ausbau des defekten, festen Sattels habe ich mich etwas schwergetan, da die Feststellbremse sich nicht bewegen lies. Nachdem der Sattel von der Scheibe herunter und die Bremsleitung ab (=kein Druck mehr im BS) war, lies sich der FB-Hebel auch zurückdrücken und der Zug aushängen. Der Einbau des Neuen dauerte nur wenige Minuten. Da der Zylinder komplett zurückgefahren ist, habe das Handbremsseil erst eingehängt, als ich den Sattel mit den beiden Schrauben am Träger fixiert hatte. Natürlich habe ich auch neue Scheiben und Beläge verbaut. Für den anderen Sattel, nebst Scheibe und Belägen braucht ich noch nicht mal halb so lang. Zum Entlüften habe ich ein Entlüftungsgerät verwandt. Damit ist es sehr einfach und man benötigt keine zweite Person. Noch'n kleiner Tip: Wenn der Hauptbremszylinder randvoll ist (ist er üblicher Weise bei Verwendung eines Entlüftungsgerätes) habe ich den Rest mit einer umgebauten Spülmittelflasche (vom bekannten Discounter mit vier Buchstaben) abgesaugt: Von der SM-Flasche den Schnellverschluß abgehebelt, dann kommt ein "Rohrstück" mit einem kleinen Kreuz zum Vorschein, Kreuz entfernt und einen passenden, eher minimal zu großen, durchsichtigen Schlauch hineinstecken. Flasche zusammendrücken, Schlauch in den Bremsflüssigkeitsbehälter und Flasche wieder entspannen. Klappt prima und ohne große Ferkelei.

Product was simple to use however I used brass wire brush attachments to clean the brake callipers as the wire brush attached would have taken me for ever to get the corrosion and rust off. Just a quick tip, if you are doing one wheel at a time don't mix up all the paint. I mixes up 4 separate batches, and there was loads of paint left over. It's transfered what was a nasty corroded calliper to something far more professional

The best caliper paint you can buy

Wanted a paint that would last and not scratch off like the typical spray paints so purchased this after seeing some YouTube videos and reviews online. Really happy with my purchase, this paint is super durable, would be really hard to scratch and will last for years. I wanted to refurb my calipers and do it once so I don’t have to touch it again because the paint scratched off etc. would highly recommend this item to all who are looking to buy this

Can't complain, easy to use, don't mix all paint in one go, mix in the plastic cap for each wheel. Paint process is not fast, you need to wait around 10-15 min between coat and leave the car for at least for 17 hourse. Paint doest dry quick and its buggest minus . All overall is happy

sagenhaft günstig und ........

....überraschenderweise sogar ein Originalbauteil!! Beim Einbau des nagelneuen (kein restaurierter!) Bremssattels in meinen VW Golf IV Bj 1999 konnte ich feststellen, dass es haargenau dasselbe Produkt (Fa Lucas) war, das von VW als Erstausstattung eingebaut wurde. Einbau war komplett problemlos und der Sattel passte ganz genau. Deshalb und auch aufgrund des sagenhaft günstigen Preises würde ich statt der 5 sogar 10 Punkte vergeben!
