super empfang
Man kann nix sagen, selbst bei Sturm und Schnee immer optimaler empfang. Die Verarbeitung ist ein Traum alles beschichtet und die Passgenauigkeit ist ein Traum, so stellt man sich das vor. Alle Kabel sind sauber in Halterungen im Arm verlegt die Befestigung ist kinderleicht. Hätte sie gern in Grau gehabt aber da war sie ausverkauft. kleiner Tip, das logo ist überlackiert, lässt sich also leider nicht entfernen. Ich mache ungern Werbung, aber ist ja ein gutes Produkt.

Über die Jathrein Qualität braucht man nichts zu sagen ausser: Einwandfrei! Wenn man die Antenne mit ballistol einlässt sieht das teil auch nach Jahren noch wie neu aus! Kabelführungen sind vorhanden und die LNB-Aufnahme ist vom Feinsten! Einzig das hässliche Logo stört den Gesamteindruck. Aber das lässt sich mit etwas Sprühlack schnell beheben! Fazit: Ohne Logo wäre die Antenne perfekt!

Had to buy a Hard Copy Manual
The book is written just as the hard copy notebook. But, the note book in hard copy with rings is something this old timer needed to study. I take my Ham Technician Exam in a week (and expect to pass).
The bible of Ham Radio
I would say this is the bible of Technician class Ham radio. It will not only help you take the exam but will enlighten you about all the facets of Ham Radio. You treat this book the way a scout treats the scouting handbook.
Buy Only the Spiral-Bound Version
I bought this on Kindle but found that studying from that format is fraught with difficulty. If you want to learn this material, buy the spiral-bound version which you can highlight and jump around in. You'll have to go back and forth to the review questions at the back, and that's a pain with the Kindle format. The material in the book is first-rate and well presented. See you on the air. The title of the book says it all
A good guide to light weight antennas. The book contains plenty of options with the pros and cons of each design discussed. Whilst this isn't a 'how to' book, the designs and options are clearly described to further search for personal evaluation. Why 5 stars? A subject that could be considered dull or too technical, broken down into easy to understand and interesting language. The author has added personal anecdotes and opinions based in his own experiences with the various designs, making this book a journal of discovery as well as a description of the technical.
